A bay area native, I was born in San Francisco and raised in Marin County. In my free time, I like to be outdoors, doing something active! I love to run, ski, workout, play tennis, and recently bike! I also really love to organize things (ha!) and am always looking for the next arts and craft to tackle. I’ve been told my high energy is contagious :).
Ever since I was editor-in-chief for my high school yearbook, I knew I wanted to be a designer. I loved the excitement that came with finding creative solutions and working hours on end to reach critical deadlines. Solving problems is what keeps my life exciting no matter what the problem may be - from things around the house to helping teams figure out how to execute a project. I love technology and the ever changing world of product design. I'm constantly eager to learn new tools and always up for the challenge on new product ideas.
My great-great grandfather, Jacob Davis, worked with Levi Strauss to create the first pair of blue jeans! He invented the rivet (the metal pins found on pocket corners) on pants , which he created around the time of the gold rush when workers' pants kept falling apart at the seams. I’m proud of my family’s history and like to think that this creative problem solving mentality runs in my “jeans”.
